Me
Hello. My name is Eloise Jameson and I’m here to help you as
much as possible with moving on in your life from anxiety.
Anxiety has been part of my life for as long as I can
remember.
When I was a very small child my dad had “problems with his
nerves”. It was never talked about, like it was a dirty
secret or something, and it’s only now, many years later
that I realised he was suffering from panic attacks.
I'm
not sure if “panic attacks” even had a name back then. It
was just called “nerves” and there was “nothing you could do
about it”. I just knew that my dad was different from the
other kids’ dads, that’s all.
I grew up in a family where emotions weren’t expressed so
now it’s no surprise to find that, as an adult, I too had
some anxiety issues that I always found hard to talk about.
Until now.
You see, I know how hard it is when anxiety takes over your
life . . . . when it stops you from enjoying social
situations, keeps you awake at night, makes you feel so ill
that you’re convinced you’ve something major wrong with you.
And you don’t need me to tell you how isolated that can make
you feel because you already know, don’t you?
It dawned on me that quite often the best person to help an
anxiety sufferer is someone who’s been through it all
themselves and that’s why I decided to offer my free weekly
email newsletter . . . . not just to give you good advice
each week and ideas on ways you can help yourself with your
anxiety problems . . . . but also to let you know that
you’re not alone in suffering with anxiety.
